Radiology Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Radiology Scheduling Coordinator responsible for scheduling imaging services and managing insurance verification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled patients
• Schedule patients for imaging services through inbound and outbound calls
• Manage clerical tasks including monitoring emails and maintaining logs of scheduled procedures

Required Qualifications

• Excellent customer service or client relations experience in an office or hospital environment
• High volume call center experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required
• Associates degree in a related field or a minimum of two years in patient scheduling, registration, and/or healthcare billing
• Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
