Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative to coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services remotely, ensuring timely access to care while providing compassionate customer service and adhering to departmental protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology procedures based on physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling
• Educate patients on preparation instructions and coordinate appointment scheduling according to availability and patient needs

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
