Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Radiology Scheduling Representative to coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services remotely, ensuring timely access to care while delivering compassionate customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Provide professional, patient-centered service during interactions and educate patients on preparation instructions and appointment details

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling and patient access workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or call center experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
