Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative, this remote position will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while providing compassionate customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling, and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Educate patients on preparation instructions, required documentation, and procedure expectations while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling and registration workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
