Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

To support a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while providing compassionate service in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy, and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Educate patients on preparation instructions and coordinate appointment scheduling based on availability and patient needs

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling and patient access workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
