Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

Supporting a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while delivering exceptional customer service in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and registration information while educating patients on preparation instructions and procedure expectations
• Accurately document scheduling activities and patient interactions within designated systems, adhering to HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR, with the ability to navigate scheduling and patient access workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, call center, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
• Prior radiology scheduling experience highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in handling sensitive patient information
