Job Summary

Supporting a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while delivering exceptional customer service in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for accuracy and completeness, and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Educate patients on preparation instructions and coordinate appointments based on modality availability and patient needs

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR, including scheduling and registration workflows
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, or call center roles preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
