Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative to coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services from a remote work environment, ensuring timely access to care while providing a compassionate scheduling experience.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Provide professional and patient-centered service during interactions, educating patients on preparation instructions and appointment details

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling and registration workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain a professional home office
