Job Summary

Supporting a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services while working remotely, ensuring a positive and compassionate scheduling experience for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Provide professional, compassionate service during patient interactions and meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling and registration workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive patient information
