Job Summary

Seeking full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representatives to coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services remotely, ensuring timely access to care while providing a compassionate scheduling experience.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Educate patients on preparation instructions and coordinate appointment scheduling based on modality availability and patient needs

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or call center experience preferred
• Prior radiology scheduling experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain a professional home office setup
