Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

Supporting a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while providing compassionate customer service in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy, and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Educate patients on preparation instructions and coordinate appointment scheduling based on modality availability

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling and registration workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
