Radiology Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

Supporting a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while providing a positive and compassionate experience in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and registration information while educating patients on preparation instructions and procedure expectations
• Document scheduling activities and patient interactions accurately within designated systems while adhering to HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows
• 1-3 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, call center, or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
