Job Summary

Supporting a leading healthcare organization, the full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services, ensuring timely access to care while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Provide professional and compassionate service during patient interactions, educating them on preparation instructions and appointment details

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience using Epic EMR/EHR and navigating scheduling workflows
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
