Radiology Service Coordinator

Job Summary

To support efficient radiology operations, the part-time Radiology Service Coordinator will manage physician calls, prepare exams for interpretation, and provide technical support across radiology information systems, working remotely on weekends from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between radiologists, clinical teams, and administrative staff to facilitate communication and operations
• Manage and verify physician calls, relay results, and connect clinical teams with radiologists as necessary
• Prepare exams for interpretation by organizing prior exams and documentation while monitoring workloads

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations
• Strong understanding of healthcare and radiology information systems, including PACS and RIS
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
