Radiology Support Specialist
Job Summary
To ensure optimal workflow in the reading center, the full-time Radiology Support Specialist will provide exceptional client service to hospitals and radiologists, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and performing database queries in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver client satisfaction through effective resolution of client calls and requests
- Efficiently draft X-Rays and verify cross-sectional exams while managing the RSS exceptions work list
- Collaborate with radiologists and IT support to troubleshoot and resolve workflow gaps in diagnostic information
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred associate or bachelor degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role
- Radiology Certification is a plus
