Rail Transit Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CBTC Systems Engineer - Rail & Transit.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with agency staff to identify operations, maintenance, and safety goals for a new signaling system
• Develop contract documents and requirements for the new signaling system
• Interface with contractors to discuss feasibility of solutions and support procurement of CBTC contractors

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related field with 15+ years of related engineering experience, preferably in the rail sector
• Professional registration (PE) is desirable
• Experience in project management, change management, maintenance management, asset management, and/or operations management consulting
• Broad general engineering background with previous supervisory experience in a project engineering role
• Knowledge of rail industry standards, practices, and regulations is desirable
