Rancher Kubernetes Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rancher Kubernetes Architect to join their professional services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning workshops to assess architecture and build deployment roadmaps
• Design secure, scalable Rancher + RKE2 architecture tailored to Harvester virtualization
• Create architectural artifacts, implement deployments, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture and implementation
• Expertise in Rancher (v2.6+) and RKE2 setup and lifecycle management
• Deep understanding of virtualization platforms such as Harvester or VMware
• Strong knowledge of RBAC and external authentication integrations (AD/LDAP/SAML)
• Prior experience delivering infrastructure workshops and deployment blueprints
