Rating Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rating Specialist, Middle Market.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews incoming business transactions for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies with underwriters
• Performs rating for New or Renewal business quotes across multiple lines of business
• Gathers data for predictive modeling tools to assist underwriters in risk selection and pricing decisions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Typically, at least 3 years of experience in multi-line Commercial Specialty lines or prior Rating/Underwriting experience
• Knowledge of insurance industry products and services, including Auto and Workers Comp
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
