Job Summary

A company is looking for a Raw Materials Buyer to support their manufacturing facility in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials required for production while maintaining appropriate inventory levels
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to align with purchasing strategies and policies
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively report deviations to ensure timely corrective actions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of successful buying experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Proficiency with procurement systems; experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA preferred
