RCM Auditor with Coding Certification

Job Summary

Conducting comprehensive audits across all phases of the revenue cycle, the full-time remote RCM Auditor with Coding Certification will ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal reimbursement while identifying revenue leakage and enhancing internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and ad hoc audits across the revenue cycle process, including charge entry, coding compliance, and denial resolution workflows
• Analyze denial trends and revenue leakage, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to improve reimbursement
• Maintain audit records and develop reporting dashboards to support internal and external audit readiness and deliver targeted education based on findings

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Active coding certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent (AAPC or AHIMA)
• 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management
• 3+ years of auditing experience within healthcare billing or coding
• Strong experience in pain management and familiarity with Medicare and commercial payer guidelines
