RCM Specialist I

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the RCM Specialist I will manage front-end and mid-cycle revenue cycle tasks, focusing on insurance verification, claim submission, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for patients and supported offices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all assigned RCM activities in accordance with best practices and internal SOPs
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for scheduled patients, ensuring accurate eligibility and benefit gathering
• Prepare and submit claims in accordance with payer-specific requirements and timelines, while addressing any rejected claims

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in dental office workflows and revenue cycle functions, including insurance verification and claim submission
• Knowledgeable of reimbursement and compliance processes with various payors
• Experience with practice management software systems and strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) preferred
