R&D Developer
Job Summary
Owning the design, build, and testing of significant features in the K10 product, the full-time R&D Developer will focus on backup and recovery of Kubernetes applications, databases, and storage systems while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and test software components with high code coverage for the K10 product
- Write, maintain, and upgrade data formats for the data movement and storage engine
- Debug applications and improve the debugging/metrics toolchain while contributing to the cloud-native open-source community
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Networking, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced coursework or project background in designing and testing distributed systems using Golang, Rust, or C++
- Experience debugging applications using GDB
- Proficiency in automating development tasks with Bash and Python
- Knowledge of developing secure software and identifying vulnerabilities
