R&D Finance Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, R&D Finance to support financial management of research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end accruals and maintain supporting documentation for R&D expenses
• Validate monthly site payments and analyze Clinical Trial Agreements for financial accuracy
• Perform detailed variance analysis and maintain rolling forecasts for clinical trial expenses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience; public company experience preferred
• Experience in R&D and/or clinical trial accounting within the life sciences industry preferred
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
