R&D Lab Operations Manager

Job Summary

To support advanced engineering initiatives, the full-time R&D Lab Operations Manager will manage hardware lifecycle processes in a dynamic lab environment, ensuring that critical engineering hardware is tracked, deployed, and maintained effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage lab hardware inventory, including servers, prototype platforms, and test equipment
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of hardware for engineering teams
• Improve lab processes for asset tracking, repairs, safety, and equipment readiness

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering lab, data center, or similar technical environment
• Hands-on familiarity with enterprise server hardware and prototype systems
• Experience in assembling, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware systems
• Strong organization skills for inventory and hardware lifecycle management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
