R&D Product Developer

Job Summary

To support product development initiatives, the contract R&D Product Developer will work flexibly from home or onsite in East Hanover, NJ, leading technical projects, utilizing digital simulation models for consumer insights, and coordinating pilot plant trials while ensuring compliance with manufacturing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects in alignment with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing requirements
• Utilize digital simulation models to interpret consumer insights and commercial information for product development
• Manage product development projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective stakeholder communication and risk management

Required qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the food industry
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and solve complex problems with technical rigor
• Experience in leading cross-functional project teams and developing technical learning plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
