Reactor Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reactor Enclosure System Component Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ASME design specification detailed design requirements and code application basis work
• Conduct critical dimension and functional limit analyses and evaluations
• Specify subcomponent joint design standards and criteria, including gasket and seal selections

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant equivalent program
• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1, particularly subsections NB, NG, and NF
• Certifying Engineer qualification to ASME Sect III, Mandatory Appendix XXIII for reactor support components is desired
