Reading Tutor
Job Summary
To support a growing network of students, current BookNook tutors will have the opportunity to add the Reading subject to their tutoring repertoire on a remote contract basis, engaging in consistent weekly sessions with students across the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Submit interest in adding the Reading subject and participate in a brief video demonstration if invited
- Conduct consistent, recurring tutoring sessions with students using provided lesson content
- Collaborate with a supportive community of tutors while aligning availability with anticipated student needs
Required qualifications
- Current BookNook tutor in good standing
- Availability for at least one hour on Monday through Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET
- Experience in tutoring or teaching the Reading subject
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a computer for remote tutoring
- Willingness to adapt to varying tutoring opportunities and hours each week
