Real Estate Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual CPA firm, the full-time Real Estate Accountant will supervise staff accountants, review financial statements, and deliver high-quality financial reports to clients while fostering strong relationships in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop staff accountants by setting deadlines and providing feedback
• Review financial statements prepared by associates and deliver timely reports to clients
• Consult with clients regularly and provide additional services, including oversight calls and ad hoc reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2-3 years of senior-level review experience, preferably in real estate
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online and property management software
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering quality work
• High level of technical ability with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
