Real Estate Accountant Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Real Estate Accountant & Reporting Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with third-party real estate management for lease administration, accounting, and operating expenses
• Manage financial reporting and relationships with the real estate management firm
• Oversee lease accounting processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in investment accounting or FP&A
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree or CPA preferred
• Experience in accounting and reporting for investments
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments and GAAP accounting pronouncements
• Experience in controllership or financial reporting roles, preferably in the insurance sector
