Job Summary

Supporting commercial timberland transactions, the full-time remote Real Estate Paralegal will serve as the lead paralegal on timber-related real estate matters, drafting closing documents and managing complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Serves as lead paralegal on commercial real estate timberland transactions
• Drafts closing documents and prepares closing binders
• Coordinates and manages large and complex commercial real estate transactions, ensuring due diligence is completed on schedule

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree is required; paralegal certificate is preferred
• Five to seven years of commercial real estate experience, with a preference for timberland or agricultural properties
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
