Reconciliation Analyst

Job Summary

Joining the Recon and Reporting team, the part-time contract Reconciliation Analyst will manage daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial data, investigate discrepancies, and develop automated reporting solutions while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute reconciliations between card networks, banking partners, and internal transaction data to ensure data integrity
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies through root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions
• Design and maintain automated SQL-based reconciliation and reporting solutions, contributing to team success metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in reconciliation, payment operations, accounting, or finance analytics with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in SQL for building and maintaining automated reporting
• Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proven ability to research and resolve discrepancies
• Working knowledge of general accounting principles and money movement mechanics
