Reconciliation Lead

Job Summary

To ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data, the full-time remote Reconciliation Lead will reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and drive automation projects to enhance efficiency in financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external statements
• Analyze and verify transactions for proper recording in financial statements and prepare reconciliation reports as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead automation initiatives within the reconciliations team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a reconciliation role
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Oracle, and financial systems
• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is advantageous
