Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring accurate financial data across various systems, the remote Reconciliation Specialist will perform daily reconciliations of fund activity, maintain documentation, and collaborate with fund accountants to resolve discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of client fund activity across general ledger, bank accounts, and internal systems
• Maintain reconciliation schedules, documentation, and audit trails
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while tracking recurring reconciliation issues

Required qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in accounting or reconciliation-focused roles
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with multi-source financial data
• Ability to investigate discrepancies methodically and communicate findings clearly
• Experience supporting close or audit-related processes
• Comfort operating independently within a defined scope
