Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reconsideration Analyst III.

Key Responsibilities

• Writes clear non-medical reconsideration decisions supporting the determination
• Ensures all appeal issues raised by the party are addressed
• Organizes documents relevant to charges and ensures correct overpayment calculations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three (3) years of general office experience
• Two (2) years of experience with high volume customer calls, appeals, or billing
• Experience relevant to Medicare managed care appeals or utilization management is preferred
• College education or technical training may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
