Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reconsideration Analyst I to perform routine appeals work and support reconsideration professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of appeals case files and reconsideration decisions
• Build and analyze reconsideration case files to ensure compliance with CMS requirements
• Input data regarding reconsiderations into required systems and respond to inquiries from appellants

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of general office experience or equivalent education in administration or business
• Preferred experience in Medicare managed care appeals or utilization management activities
• Some knowledge of research techniques and applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to meet production and quality standards while multitasking
