Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reconsideration Analyst III (Weekend Work).

Key Responsibilities

• Makes second level non-medical appeal decisions, including reviews of appeal cases
• Writes clear non-medical reconsideration decisions that support determinations
• Organizes relevant documents and ensures compliance with regulations and privacy standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three (3) years of general office experience
• Two (2) years of experience with high volume customer calls, appeals, or billing
• Experience in Medicare managed care appeals or utilization management is preferred
• College education or technical training may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
