Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

Making second-level non-medical appeal decisions, the full-time Reconsideration Analyst will work remotely to write clear decisions, ensure compliance with regulations, and organize relevant documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear non-medical reconsideration decisions that support determinations
• Provide fair and impartial decisions based on current evidence and regulations
• Organize documents by dates of service and ensure accuracy in overpayment calculations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of general office experience, with education in administration or business potentially substituting for experience
• Two years of experience handling a high volume of customer calls, appeals, or billing
• Experience in Medicare managed care appeals or utilization management activities is preferred
