Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Reconsideration Analyst III will make second-level non-medical appeal decisions, ensuring clarity and compliance while managing documentation and evidence review.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear non-medical reconsideration decisions that support determinations
• Ensure all appeal issues raised by parties are addressed fairly and impartially
• Organize relevant documents and verify the accuracy of overpayment calculations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of general office experience, with education in administration or business potentially substituting for experience
• Two years of experience handling a high volume of customer calls, appeals, or billing
• Experience with Medicare Part C related appeals activities is preferred
