Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting reconsideration professionals, the full-time Reconsideration Analyst will coordinate appeals case files, analyze medical and non-medical cases, and input data into required systems while working remotely and on weekends as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of appeals case files and reconsideration decisions to external entities
• Build and analyze reconsideration case files to ensure compliance with CMS requirements
• Input data regarding reconsiderations into applicable systems and respond to inquiries from appellants/providers

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of general office experience, with relevant education substituting for experience on a year-per-year basis
• Preferred experience in Medicare Part C related appeals activities
• Residency in the United States for at least three of the last five years
