Reconsideration Analyst

Job Summary

Making second-level non-medical appeal decisions, the full-time Reconsideration Analyst will work remotely to write clear reconsideration decisions, address all appeal issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Writes clear reconsideration decisions that support the determinations made
• Conducts research using federal regulations and related resources to support accurate decision-making
• Ensures all appeal issues raised are addressed and that documents comply with Privacy Act provisions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three (3) years of general office experience
• Two (2) years of experience in high volume customer calls, appeals, or billing
• Knowledge of Medicare Part A is preferred
• Residency in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years
