Job Summary
Serving as the first touchpoint for members in the intake process, the full-time Recovery Access Specialist will manage incoming calls, provide information on services, and initiate client assessments while working Sunday to Wednesday from 9 am to 7 pm EST.
Key responsibilities
- Answer all calls promptly and warmly, providing educated responses to inquiries and assisting with client needs
- Initiate client Biopsychosocial Assessments using motivational interviewing techniques to determine eligibility for the program
- Schedule initial intake appointments and coordinate with clinic coordinators regarding client no-shows
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience in human services/healthcare or customer service roles, with preference for retail, medical, or hospitality experience
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services meeting specified requirements
- Ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including background screening and health assessments
- Strong telecommunication skills and comfort with multiple IT systems and applications
