A company is looking for a Recovery Analyst - Underpayments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of claims to identify underpayments and incorrect adjudications
• Initiate follow-ups on underpaid or denied claims and prepare appeals for accurate reimbursement
• Identify systemic payer issues and recommend process improvements to enhance reimbursement

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle focusing on underpayment and payer reimbursement analysis
• Understanding of hospital managed care contracts and reimbursement methodologies
• Experience with hospital billing systems and contract modeling tools
• Knowledge of payer-specific policies and denial types
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends
