Recovery Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking skilled and motivated individuals, the full-time Recovery Analyst will work remotely to identify and recover overpayments and misapplied payments by reconciling accounts payable and communicating with suppliers through phone and email.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile clients' suppliers' accounts payable to identify accounting errors, misapplied payments, and overpayments
• Request and follow up with suppliers for necessary information, reports, and documents via phone and email
• Analyze data to identify deficiencies in controls, duplicate payments, and system errors that lead to lost profits

Required qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret accounts payable payment summaries
• Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong communication skills for engaging with suppliers
• High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office
• College degree preferred; accounting experience a plus but not required
