Recovery Collector

Job Summary

Collecting payments on assigned delinquent accounts, the full-time Recovery Collector will review documentation, contact customers via telephone and written correspondence, and arrange repayment schedules to minimize organizational loss, working remotely with a set schedule including evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to collect payments on delinquent accounts and negotiate repayment plans
• Review account documentation to assess the status and determine appropriate collection actions
• Minimize financial loss to the organization by effectively managing assigned accounts

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to three years of experience in collections or customer service
• Knowledge of loan collection policies and fair debt collection practices
• Ability to organize and interpret information effectively
• Strong customer service skills
