Recovery Collector

Job Summary

Collecting payments on assigned delinquent accounts, the full-time Recovery Collector will review documentation, contact customers by phone or written correspondence, and arrange repayment schedules to minimize organizational loss, working remotely with a schedule that includes evenings and rotating Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Review documentation and contact customers to collect payments on delinquent accounts
• Arrange repayment schedules to minimize financial loss to the organization
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment arrangements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
• Knowledge of loan collection policies and fair debt collection practices
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and organize information effectively
• Good verbal and written communication skills
