Reference and Research Librarian

Job Summary

Reference and Research Librarian is a remote, full-time position responsible for delivering reference and research support services to EPA researchers, managing library transitions, and contributing to various library programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth reference and research support services to EPA researchers and staff
• Support the library's transition to Alma and manage collection projects
• Participate in the development of innovative library services and complete reporting duties as required

Required Qualifications

• MS in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of professional library experience, including 3 years in reference and research services
• Experience with research tools and databases relevant to scientific research
• Familiarity with Alma, EndNote, and other library tools
• Ability to pass a government background investigation requiring Permanent Residency or US Citizenship
