Reference Librarian

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reference & Research Librarian to support library and records management services for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-depth reference and research support services to EPA researchers and staff, including virtual reference services and interlibrary loan
• Support the library's transition to Alma with collection management projects
• Contribute to library programs and services such as research impact, library instruction, and innovative service development

Required Qualifications

• MS in Library Science, Information Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in reference and research services in scientific research settings
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated subject knowledge in science, business, legal, or technical fields
• Experience with library tools such as Alma and EndNote
• Ability to pass a government background investigation requiring Permanent Residency or US Citizenship
