Referral Assistant

Job Summary

To support patient care operations, the full-time Referral Assistant will verify patient and insurance information, schedule appointments, and manage billing-related tasks onsite after completing training in St. Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient and insurance information for accuracy
• Schedule appointments and manage referral processes
• Obtain necessary information to produce billable patient accounts

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required
• Experience with referral processes preferred
• Experience with EPIC systems preferred
• Clinic or comparable healthcare environment experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
