Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referrals Coordinator - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient referrals and serve as the primary liaison between patients and referral specialists
• Assist patients in understanding their insurance plans and navigate care options
• Document interactions and maintain confidentiality while managing patient records and prior authorizations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical navigator role
• Experience with insurance plans, precertification, and referral management
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedural coding, and HIPAA standards
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365
• Ability to work remotely in a secure and distraction-free environment
