Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of the patient referral process and ensures adherence to timelines and procedures
• Obtains referral authorizations from insurance carriers and resolves related issues prior to patient appointments
• Maintains updated referral resources and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience in the healthcare field, including one year in a relevant role such as Medical Assistant or Patient Services Representative
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local insurance regulations
• Familiarity with the referral process for various insurance plans
• Experience with electronic health record systems and data entry
